The Riverside Mail March 2012

Hi there and welcome to March!

Nayland Pool is still open until Friday the 16th March 2012.

Come along and make the most of the remaining summer days at Nayland Park Pools! Nayland Park Pools will be closing to the public for the season at 5pm on Friday the 16th March. The best times to visit are after school and weekends as the pool can be heavily booked with schools during the weekdays. Come for a swim in the 50m lane pool, a slide into the 20m pool, a dive off the diving boards or a splash in the toddlers pool. Check the http://www.naylandpool.co.nz/ website for more details and opening hours.

Chillout April Holiday programme

Last month, we said goodbye to our Chillout Co-ordinator Nicki, who has moved to Wellington to pursue new challenges. Luckily, we are privileged to have the fantastic Amanda Gadsby take up the role. Amanda has been working with the Chillout crew alongside Nicki for a while now, so she already knows everyone so it's great to have her on board! She is currently busy organising lots and lots of fun activities for the April school holidays, as well as keeping the Chillout Afterschool kids entertained! If you are looking for a fun and exciting holiday programme for you kids then look no further. CYF and OSCAR approved. Please check out the website for further details and booking information.

THE NEW SPA!

It has been eagerly awaited and we are now pleased to confirm that it is in the country at last! It is currently undergoing some testing and alterations before it can be installed at Riverside Pool. As with most new pool installations, we are preparing for a teething period while we iorn out any issues it may have to ensure the smooth and reliable running of the new spa. Please bear with us on this!

Rachel Hunter Wins in Wellington!

In the last newsletter, we wished Rachel all the best in her novice powerlifting competition. This month, we are happy to report that she came away with the win in her weight category! All of her had work, training and preparation paid off and she is very happy with the result. We wish her all the best in her future competitions!
